The annual World Bogsnorkelling Championship is held every August Bank Holiday at the famous Waen Rhydd the Welsh foothills of the Cambrian Mountains near the smallest town in Britain renowned for its quirky sports. The idea was conceived in 1985 by landlord Gordon Green of The Neuadd Arms pub to put Llanwrtyd Wells on the map. World Champion is Andrew Holmes with a time of 84secs in 2011. Photo: Graham M.
