Peter Halvorsen, commanding officer, USS Carney (DDG 64), awards Navy and Marine Corps Achievement medals to three Sailors while in port in Faslane, Scotland March 25, 2017. Carney, an Arleigh Burke-class guided-missile destroyer, forward-deployed to Rota, Spain, is conducting its third patrol in the 6th Fleet area of operations in support of national security interests in Europe.
