MEDITERRANEAN SEA (Nov. 23, 2014) – Boatswain’s Mate 2nd Class Douglas Thomas, originally from Los Angles, guides a stores palette as it’s lowered to the deck during a replenishment-at-sea evolution aboard USS Cole (DDG 67) Nov. 23, 2014. Cole, an Arleigh Burke-class guided-missile destroyer, homeported in Norfolk, is conducting naval operations in the 6th Fleet area of operations in support of national security interests in Europe.
