Members across Joint Base San Antonio participate with the Police Week retreat ceremony, May 20, 2022, at JBSA-Randolph, Texas. The week of May 9-15 was observed around the country to honor the service and sacrifice of law enforcement. It began in 1962 when President John F. Kennedy proclaimed May 15 as National Peace Officers Memorial Day and the calendar week in which May 15 falls, National Police Week.
