Asmooth voice indicates a balance of power in the twins—anambidexter. This subject is so interesting and important that it is worth illustrating, hence I have introduced the following Figure and description. Pig. 25. Fig. 72 represents the muscles ofthe face, all of them evidently be-ing double, except 13, which is alsodouble, the tendon at the middleline of the upper and lower lips, perfectly though thinly, separatingthe right from the left. If a personsright or left facial muscles are par-alyzed, he win he able to use onlythe other muscles of the face includ-that of both lips from the middleline, and by a little practice any per-one can exhibit the action of thelips of one side in talking while theother is quiet. Fig. 49 also showsthat each group of muscles has itsown nerves. In the above Figure the muscles are represented in ex-act balance. The person with such muscles will be ambi-dexter, have a smooth voice, etc. If the left brain is thestronger, the muscles of the right face will be the stronger, the more lively, and more expression will be there ex- 108 hibited; it is the right side of the face to be photographed. This Figure also shows that the muscles are in pairs, ortwins, and in connection with Figure 20 will conclusivelyimpress the mind with the correct idea that the nervouscentres which control the muscles must be double, or twins. The weaker side needs especial attention in restoration,it must receive more heat, rubbing, etc., while the strongerchest must be chiefly relied upon in artificial respiration. The twinity of the Mentatory Ganglia gives rise to dou-ble consciousness. Some restored persons say that whendrowning there seemed to be two of th
