The Stellenbosch Village Museum is a collection of period houses dating from 1709 to 1929, restored and furnished in the style of its own period. Schreuderhuis, one of the earliest houses in Stellenbosch, was built around 1709 and contains furniture and other household objects from the period 1690-1720.
