Detroit, Michigan - The Detroit Sound Conservancy held a ceremony to announce plans to rehab the Blue Bird Inn, a jazz club popular in the African-American community from the 1930s through the 1950s. Michelle Jahra Mickeney, wife of the late musician Harold McKinney, spoke for the Conservancy at the ceremony.
