Nicasius le Febure, aka Nicolas le Febure or Nicasius le Fevre or Nicolas le Fèvre, 1615 - 1669. French born chemist and alchemist. Little is known of his personal life, but it is thought he took English nationality in 1662. He worked for both the French and British royal families. Amongst other royal appointments he was appointed physician to Louis XIV of France, and Professor of Chemistry to Charles II of England. After a print by Gerard Edelinck.
