Hornby Castle taken from the River Wenning in Lancashire. I stopped off for a moment in the carpark and spotted the weir under the bridge, went off to explore and realised it gave a really nicely framed view of the castle. A bit of abuse of the Lee Big Stopper to give a nice long (60 second) exposure just softened it all up nicely. I fancy giving this another go in the Autumn as the trees would match the browns in the river and it could look rather If it isn't raining!
