Midshipmen from many colleges receive a briefing on the operation of the tube-launched, optically-tracked, wire-guided (TOW) missile at Gun Position 7. The midshipmen are on their Navy Reserve Officers Training Corps (NROTC) spring break and are touring Camp Pendleton. The TOW is an anti-tank, ground-to-ground and air-to-air guided weapons system used by the infantry.
