Rome, Italy. 21st Aug, 2017. Two days ago a palace was cleared in Rome near the busy Termini station, inhabited by about 800 refugees, mostly Eritrean and Somali. After the clearance, no alternative solution was put in place, and two nights the refugees slept in the flower beds in front of the cleared building, with their belongings. Only mothers and children were allowed to sleep in the 1st floor of the palace, but on the ground, without mattresses. Children in the window yell "we are refugees" and "we want a home" Credit: Patrizia Cortellessa/Pacific Press/Alamy Live News
