This image may not be used to state or imply ESA endorsement of any company or product Korolev Crater, Mars Express image. Korolev Crater is 82 kilometres across, located in the northern lowlands of Mars. It is filled with a thick deposit of ice (white). This image was created using data from the nadir and colour channels of the High Resolution Stereo Camera (HRSC) on Mars Express, which is orbiting Mars. The nadir channel is aligned perpendicular to the surface of Mars, as if looking straight down at the surface. Image published in 2018.
