CAMDEN PALACE THEATRE, CAMDEN HIGH STREET, LONDON, ENGLAND - An old image of the building shortly after opening. It had been formally opened by the actress Ellen Terry on Boxing Day 1900 as the Royal Camden Theatre to show a wide range of productions ranging from Shakespeare to opera, musical comedy and pantomime. It later became a bbc recording studio,a cinema , a musical theatre and a night club. A large fire at the building during renovation work occured on the 6th January 2020 when eight fire engines and around 60 firefighters attended to contain the fire in the roof area.
