Scranton, Pennsylvania, USA. The former Delaware, Lackawanna and Western Railroad Station in downtown Scranton, now a hotel, was built in 1908.


The former Delaware, Lackawanna and Western Railroad Station in downtown Scranton, now a hotel, was built in 1908. After its closure as a railway depot, it reopen as an upscale hotel in 1983. The structure is listed on the US National Register of Historic Places and is an example of the French Renaissance style of architecture. At the time of the photograph the hotel was named the Radisson Lackawanna Station Hotel. The building retains its distinctive architectural features such as its columns, clocks and ornamentation.
