Historic Fulwood Barracks in Preston is the Headquarters of the Army in North West England. It also houses the Lancashire Infantry Museum


Built in the 1840's, the 16 Grade II listed buildings which comprise Fulwood Barracks are "the finest collection of mid-Victorian military architecture left in the country." It is the traditional home of the Army in the North West of England. It houses the Army's Regional Headquarters and a number of other units, including the Regimental Headquarters of the Duke of Lancaster's Regiment and the Lancashire Infantry Museum
