Naukluft Mountains (Naukluftberge) in central Namibia.

The Naukluft Mountains (Afrikaans: Naukluftberge) east of Sesriem lie within the Namib-Naukluft Park. Its great height 1,965m (6,450ft) allows this massif to intercept what little moisture blows in from the cold Atlantic, feeding many small streams. The rugged terrain and water, in turn, provide habitat for diverse wildlife, including mountain zebra, klipspringer and leopard. Viewed across the Tsauchab Plains from Elim Dune.
