The repetitive and symmetrical pattern consists along the underside of the strip of a concatenation of pointed oval shapes that are formed by two winding contour threads that are worked in a closed pinhole soil. At regular intervals a larger oval forms from the pointed ovals and extends up to the top of the strip, the wires at the top of the strip running in a straight line along the top until the next large oval.
