NEW YORK (Nov. 10, 2018) Chief Quartermaster Dany Higinio, the Navigation Department leading chief petty officer aboard the Harpers Ferry-class amphibious dock landing ship USS Oak Hill (LSD 51), receives his honorable discharge certificate from Oak Hill Commanding Officer Cmdr. Philip Knight before re-enlisting at the 9/11 Memorial in New York City. Oak Hill is participating in Veterans Week New York City 2018 to honor the service of all our nation’s veterans.
