There, wineries and professionals met again to give a boost to the wine sector. The Salón de los Mejores Vinos, the key event for the sector that Peñín organizes every year, reopened its doors in its twenty-first edition. In it, more than 350 Spanish wineries from all producing areas presented more than 2,000 references. As a novelty, the Hall dedicated a prominent space to the Best Vermouths, that is, those that have obtained 90 or more points in the Peñín Vermouth Guide, the only one dedicated exclusively to this wine-based drink. In addition, the hall had a complete program of parallel activities, made up of tastings and masterclasses. The twenty-first edition of the Salón de los Mejores Vinos was officially inaugurated by D. Luis Planas, Minister of Agriculture, Fisheries and Food. The Best Wines Show was, once again, the meeting point between producers and professionals with a buying and prescribing profile, and was consolidated as the best promotional platform to reactivate commercial relations and to promote one of the sectors most damaged by the pandemic. Every year, all kinds of oenological projects participate in the Best Wines Show: from the best-known wineries and groups, to small family wineries with limited productions or more personal proposals. As usual, Peñín maintained its commitment to quality by selecting only those wines that had obtained a rating of 90 or more points in the Peñín Guide.
