Tornado damage. Electricity company crew restoring power after a tornado in Pensacola, Florida, USA. A tornado is a rapidly rotating funnel of air that can form below certain types of storm clouds. High wind speeds within the rotating funnel can cause immense destruction. This damage was caused by an EF3 tornado that lasted for 20 minutes from around 20:00 local time on 23 February 2016. The destruction occurred over an area 13 kilometres long and around 270 metres wide, with winds of up to 250 kilometres per hour destroying properties and downing power lines. Three people were injured. Photographed on 24 February 2016.
