(Known only from the type in Basel Museum, a second specimen in the Royal Brussels Museum, and a third in Hamburg Museum, which latter I have examined). Remarks. Closely related to Placogaster degrysi sp. n., of Lagos, Sierra Leone, for points of difference see page 000 Parker (1939a) comments on the conspicuousness of the middorsal furrow which he says is as noticeable as those on the flanks.
