Design for a Door and Overdoor, Giuseppe Barberi, Italian, 1746–1809, Pen and brown ink, brush and brown wash on off-laid paper, Both of the two door foldings have above and below a small rectangular panel and in the center is a large one. The small panels are decorated with a festoon hanging from bowknots, the latter with an oval representation of the figure of a standing woman. They are framed outside by a wreath which is connected by a stem with a lion mask above, below the molded frame. The overdoor shows the picture of the entrance into a fortress. Wall as usual.
