A Chinese folding screen, 18th century, Rectangular frame of fine hard wood (huanghuali?) covered with cloth on the obverse. The frame with applied ivory elements (partially incomplete, damaged), the top with a bronze grip decorated in relief. Silk embroidery depicting a landscape with many figures, the surfaces faded and heavily rubbed. Black lacquered reverse with gold scrolling leaves. Bronze feet. Dimensions 142 x 95 cm.
