Cuenca, Cuenca Province, Castile-La Mancha, Spain. Cuenca Cathedral, full name, Catedral de Santa María y San Julián de Cuenca. Work began at the end of the 12th century. It has been added to and reconstructed in part in ensuing centuries, which has resulted in its combination of Norman, Gothic, Romanesque and neo-Gothic architectural styles. The historic walled town of Cuenca is a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
