The Inner Door of Temple 22 at Copan. Uaxaclajuun Ub'aah K'awiil; also known as a 18 Rabbit; built Temple 22 on Copan's Acropolis. The inner doors were decorated in carvings symbolizing rainclouds and supernatural beings; surrounded on either side by a Bacab; creatures which held up the sky. They are standing on skulls; symbolizing the way to the underworld.
