A Dreyse needle-fire revolver, circa 1865, cal. (Prussian inches = approx. 9 mm), no. 3043. Matching numbers. Bright, four-groove rifled bore, octagonal barrel, length 100 mm. 6-shot. On frame bridge marked "v. DREYSE SÖMMERDA", bottom right on frame "Cal: 0,35-12 Gran Pulv:". Barrel root, frame and trigger guard with simple vine engraving. Bolt housing with silver inlay. Complete original bluish-black highly polished finish, minimally spotted, more so on grip front, cylinder with rotation mark. Trigger guard weakly colour case hardened.
