The arms aremade of hard wood and bolted fast to thevertical shaft. The shaft and arms can bemade to suit any depth or diameter of well. Improved Stepless Blunger The illustration on the opposite page shows our im-proved double stepless blunger or mixer, which is used inpottery, tile, terra cotta, electric porcelain plants and allclay working plants where it is desired to mix up differentkinds of clays and other materials into a liquid form to bepumped into filter presses. This blunger is a great improvement over our formerproduction. It is made of the very best material through-out, the tank is made of heavy tank steel, which is linedwith vitrified brick. The housings or A frames, separatorsand gears are made of the very best grade of gray are two heavy vertical steel shafts running inopposite direction, which are supported with a substantialthrust ball bearing and which is bolted to bottom are two steel arms or beaters bolted to each of theseshafts. These arms or beaters are so constructed that theytend to raise and keep the lumps and other materials fromsettling
