The Thames Path is still submerged under several feet of water in an area near Chertsey Bridge called Dumsey Meadow, which is part of the Thames flood plain. Across the river boats are moored at Chertsey Meads Marina. After the exceptional levels of rainfall across the UK, the River Thames has burst its banks in many places causing several road closures in Surrey including Chertsey Bridge which was closed for 10 days.
