White Shell Line on Shingle Beach Created by Two Cancer Survivors Over a Decade Ago

White, welk shells were placed in a line by two women fighting cancer over 14 years ago. Now, both survivors return yearly to maintain the white shell line. Others have added and now some 20,000 shells stretch about 350 meters from the beach house to the seaside. Walking the line is a moving experience.
