Innundation by sea water flooding coastal bar breach by storms south of Walberswick, Suffolk, England- November 2006


At low tide a channel has been formed through the shingle bar allowing water to flow back to sea from the landward side. Innundation by saltwater was a threat to the freshwater wetland habitat in the lagoon.
