Pkt., 5c; oz., 15c; lb., 600 The Sibley, or " Pike's Peak" Squash—The seed of this variety is of a very peculiar shape and color, and the Squash is entirely original and distinct, having the stem at the swelled end. The shell is hard and flinty, very thin and smooth. The flesh is solid, thick, a brilliant orange in color, and of the best quality. It ripens simultaneously with the Hubbard, though the quality is considerably improved if the squashes are housed a few weeks before using. Pkt., 5c; oz., 15c; lb., $ TOMATOES. Tomato—Liebe sapfel~l ornate s. An ounce will produce 1,500 plants; 4 ounces will produce enoguh for one acre. They do best on a light, warm, not over rich soil; and success depends to a very great extent on securing a rapid, vigorous, unchecked growth the early part of the season. Transplant as soun as the plants are fit to handle into shallow boxes, setting them 4 or 5 inches apart. When strong and stocky, set out in hilts 4 feet apart.
