Rumors of future movements circulated among the men tothe effect that we were to be sent west with the old ninthcorps now on the way. While we were in this camp we hadforty cases of measles in tlie regiment, only one of which ter-minated fatally. Being in close proximity to the village, weacain felt the touch of civil life as we once more walked the MT.
