New York, NY, USA. 6th May, 2013. The Metropolitan Museums's Costume Institute's Punk - Chaos to Couture opened to the press. The exhibition examines punk's impact on high fashion from the moverments birth in the 1970's through it's continuing influence today. The first gallery is devoted to CBGB in New York City, represented by Blondie, RichardHell, The Ramones, and Patt Smith. Other Galleries include work by Vivienne Westwood and Malcom McLaren. There are large video screens of Sid Vicious and Johnny Rotten.
