Architectural screen framing standing flutist & seated man with mandolin framed by large flower-filled vases & beside table laid with violin & bagpipe in center (BRD) borders have inner & outer bands of classical ornament; (UPR & LWR BRD) centered by chinese warrior reclining in tent with table holding 2 cups, flanked by censers & strapwork This series comprises six pieces: 3 wide, horizontal panels & 3 upright ones. This set features the "chinoiserie" border. This is just the central section of the pattern; this piece is probably an entrefenêtre panel.
