Having met personnel of the US Air Force 100th Air Refuelling Wing stationed at the base Biden has departed to continue his five day UK visit which includes meetings with PM Boris Johnson and to attend the G7 summit in Cornwall. He departed at dusk bound for Cornwall, with the American flag on the aircraft's tail illuminated
