The following mixture hasbeen used successfully in the ColoradoAgricultural College shop where theforges are in use eight hours a dayfor six months and where the liningsget the hardest kind of parts fire clay. 9 parts pulverized fire brick. 1 part clean sharp the mixture in place, then burndry.
