The Southgate Arch Launceston seen from Southgate Street. The remaining gateway from when Launceston was a walled town. Also known as the Dark House it served as a prison from 1381 to 1884. One side the offices of the Cornish and Devon Post can be seen, on the other a window display for the Coronation of King Charles III.
