A large banner has been hung below the Clifton Suspension Bridge in the Avon gorge by protesters wanting to raise awareness of the Transatlantic Trade and Investment Partnership (TTIP), a proposed free-trade agreement between the United States and Europe. The protesters climbed the gorge in darkness to get the banner in place. The protesters say the agreement threatens the UK's social standards and environmental regulations.
