The Arch of Titus is a triumphal arch located on the Via Sacra.

The Arch of Titus is a triumphal arch located on the Via Sacra, just east of the Roman Forum. It was built shortly after the death of the Emperor Titus (born in the year 39 AD and Emperor between 79 and 81 AD). The Arch of Titus commemorates the victories of Titus against the Jews. In one scene a character is represented with helmet (the goddess Roma), in another scene is a "victory", a being with wings that places the laurel crown to the emperor.
