Josh Leary, Retired Air Force and wounded warrior, pulls back a bow as he prepares to shoot during the Northeast Region Warrior CARE Event at Joint Base Andrews, Md., Nov. 16, 2016. Leary is visually impaired and can only see four feet in front of him after losing most of his vision while serving in Afghanistan. Leary is given direction by a spotter during shooting. The events are a part of a week-long program that features education in Caregiver Support, Adaptive and Rehabilitative Sports, Recovering Airman Mentorship, and Employment and Career Readiness.
