Command Sgt. Major Quentin Fenderson, a 3rd Infantry Division Soldier who served with Medal of Honor recipient Sgt. 1st Class Alwyn C. Cashe, spoke during the rededication ceremony for the Sgt. 1st Class Alwyn C. Cashe Army Reserve Center to upgrade his medal from the Silver Star to Medal of Honor, March 25, 2022, in Sanford, Florida. Cashe was posthumously awarded the Medal of Honor by President Joe Biden at the White House December 16, 2021.
