This striking novelty was last year offered by various Seedsmen under the name of Golden Yellow Sweet Pea, Dwarf Golden Sweet Pea, etc., and, while the blossoms are a true Sweet Pea form, flowers of a brilliant yellow color- ing set off by a blotch of maioon on the wing, here the re- semblance to the Sweet Pea ceases, as the plant has no tendrils and requires no support. It is a strong, deep- rooted bush, growing about two and one-half feet high, and able to stand alone. It is an annual, blooming early and continuously until killed by frost in the fall.
