The Qutb Minar in Delhi, India, towers above the Quwwat-ul-Islam Mosque. The Qutb Minar stands metres high and is the highest stone tower in India. The Qutb Complex also encloses the Quwwat-ul-Islam Mosque of Qutbuddin Aibak and dates from the late twelfth century.
