The powhiri, a traditional Maori welcome performed daily at Waka Maori, the Viaduct, Auckland during Rugby World Cup 2011

This traditional Maori welcome (known as powhiri), was performed daily during much of Rugby World Cup 2011. It started outside Waka Maori - seen in background and specially constructed for the event - then continued inside. (many cameras, happy to be photographed)
