Vidal Martinez, 88 years-old, at his stable in the small village of Fuentes de Agreda, north of small village of Fuentes de Agreda in the Spanish province of Soria is becoming Europe's largest desert in terms of population, it has registered a decline more than 50% of its population during the last decades and has the highest rate of ageing in European Union, a of its population in over 65 years. Martínez is the only inhabitant of this village during the winter.
