A member of the Taino-Arawak people, performing some traditional music to visiting tourists, visiting the Cueva del Indio, (Indian Cave), a cave, first discovered in 1920. It has a flowing underground San Vincente river in the San Vincente valley, part of the Valle de Vinales, Pinar del Río Province, west Cuba, Cuba. The cave has a connection with the Taino Indians who held their tribal meetings and made numerous carvings in the walls of these natural limestone caves. The Taíno were the first New World peoples to be encountered by Christopher Columbus during his 1492 voyage.
