In May, 1904, Mr. F. S. Peer of New York imported 16 Toggenburg and 10 Saanen goats to this country for Messrs. W. J. Cohill of Maryland, R. N. Riddle of New Jersey, W. M. Decker of New York, and S. K. Bayley of Massachusetts. Mr. Cohill also secured 2 goats from Carl Hagenback at the World's Fair, St. Louis, in 1904, that Hagenback had brought from the Black Forest of Germany.
