On Monday, April 6, Kenyan President Uhuru Kenyatta announced a 21-day cessation of movement in and out of Nairobi and the counties of Kilifi, Kwale, and Mombasa due to the spread of COVID-19 in these regions. This followed a night curfew (7pm to 5am) that had been imposed just days before.
