Five of the imagines were submitted to Mr James Waterston, of the Imperial Bureau of Entomology, who, with Dr R. C. L. Perkins, examined them and reported that all were females of a species of the genus Phaeno- serphus (KiefE., 1908), probably (Haliday, 1839). To these.
