The fully developed worm varies from three to six inches in length. a. Life History.—The sheep tick is said to be the intermediate host. Animals Infested.—Sheep. Parts Infested.—Small intes- tines. Symptoms.—When the animal is infested by many worms they may interfere with digestion and by robbing the host of nu- trients cause an unthrifty con- dition ; they may prove serious to lambs.
